The Drone Racing League is the premier drone racing events organiser and are leading the way in the industry. DRL has produced many of the great drone racers including Nurk FPV.
Earlier this year the Drone Racing League once again have lead the way with its new RacerAI autonomous racing drones. The RacerAI removes the need for pilots to race and rather focuses on the teams behind the drones. The teams are made to design their own code for the drone to run on, making the race winner based on the team that has the best code running on the drone.
Last week DroneDJ got the chance to interview DRL’s Sim Tryouts winner, Christian Van Sloun, aka Amari. The Drone Racing League is wanting to get more people into racing by leveraging esports and its drone racing simulator.
The wildly successful Drone Racing League has just launched a Kickstarter allowing the public to get their hands on their very own DRL Racer4 Street drone. The launch comes after many requests from viewers wanting to buy the previous Racer3 drone used in DRL’s events.
We got the pleasure of interviewing Nurk of the DRL, a drone racing pilot that recently won the 2018 Drone Racing League Championship race. The Drone Racing League is the premiere drone racing competition recognized by all.
